Sarah never needed confident Chuck. She fell in love with him in the first episode. You're right the doctor would have a problem with Sarah, probably because of her guns. Jack flirting with Sarah would be funnier than Cole. There never was a Mickey/Rose/Jack or a Doctor/Rose/Jack threesome, so I think we'd be safe. Some of the companions were dropped off occasionally, so a little Sarah episode would still be possible. If big Sarah is there--Doctor Who is all about dealing with BAD things. (cont)
1. Sarah might not need confident Chuck. I agree with that. But Chuck needs confident Chuck. That was really what season 3 was about. Chuck needed to realize that he was capable of being more than he was. He needed to prove himself to himself. Not to Sarah. HE needed more. Sarah was always going to love him for him, but he needed more from himself. That’s an important distinction, and that’s a real, big reason to go.
2. Of course we’d get Sarah “episodes.”
3. In my opinion, if it hadn’t been labeled a family show, we TOTALLY would have gotten a Doctor/Rose/Jack threesome. ;) My OT3! Let me show you it! :D
